Illichevsk sea commercial port infrastructure development project – procurement and supervision consultancy services

The objective of the modernisation programme is to increase the operational reliability and efficiency of the Port’s services and solve a critical transport bottleneck in the area by supporting the development of a major container terminal in the Black Sea.
This development project includes two main components:
• dredging works completed and financed by the Port and,
• civil works and equipment procurement financed by the EBRD under a 26 M Euros loan.
The Project addresses the reconstruction of berths 7; 8; 9 with the objectives to :
• increase the water depth from 10/11m to 16m ;
• increase the operating load on the yard from 10 to 20 t/m2.
Reconstruction of three berths will be fulfilled in the frame of the contract under FIDIC conditions.
